Attended Nursery Available:
Families with young children are a vital part of a growing church and we welcome kids to our worship!  Parents, if you prefer childcare, we offer an attended nursery for children three and under.  The nursery is downstairs adjacent to the preschool area.

Junior Worship This Morning for all kids age four through third grade.  Listen for the dismissal after the Lord’s Supper.

Stay for Lunch!  Our monthly potluck dinner is today. Plan to stay for lunch and for the afternoon singing.  West care group is in charge of potluck activities.  There will be no evening services.

Small Group Committee will meet this afternoon.  Meeting will be in the fellowship hall right after the singing.

Have You Signed Up For A Small Group Yet?    Small groups will return soon with some exciting changes.  First change...we need everyone to choose the group they prefer and SIGN UP.  Information and sign up sheets are posted in fellowship hall.   Small groups will meet on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in June, July, August and September.  Please sign up today!!

Singing Workshop
This Saturday:  Green Valley is hosting another Praise and Harmony Singing Seminar with Keith Lancaster May 10-11. This is an awesome opportunity for song leaders and singers. Information is posted on the foyer board.  See Jay Wilson TODAY if you are interested in carpooling.

Our Graduates:  Melva did a wonderful job putting together a CD honoring our seniors last year.  She is willing to do another one this year, but needs your photographs. So, parents of 2008 graduates, start digging through those old photos!  Please give pictures to Melva by next Sunday.
Graduates will be honored on Sunday, June 1.

On Back Table:  May calendars and worship schedules are on the back table.

Camp Indogan:  It’s not too early to plan for summer camp!  Camp session information and registration forms are on the back table.

Adult Sunday Class Change:
A new adult class will begin in the fellowship hall on May 11th. TC Omondi and Aric Hooley will lead the class discussion on the 7 churches mentioned in Revelation 2 and how they relate to the modern church.

In the basement, Jim Dillinger will begin a class on self-esteem as a Christian. This class will also begin May 11.

In the auditorium, Jim Smith will continue the study of Matthew.

Wheel of Fellowship:  We spun the wheel last Sunday evening.  See which family you’ve been paired with and plan to get together this month.

Welcome Home!  Milam and Betty Anderson have returned for the summer. Most of our snow birds have migrated home.  Mike and Janet
Weber will be back soon.  College kids will also be traveling home. Please keep all in your prayers.

Graduation Announcements:  We have five soon-to-be graduates this year.  Announcements and Open House information will be posted as it is made available. Check the foyer board.

In the Library:   Study books, Christian novels, devotional books, tapes, magazines, children’s books, movies...we have it all!  Be sure to check out our church library!   A recent addition of interest to our ladies: Christian Woman magazine (May/ June 2008)  is now available.
