William J. Morway, 69,
of Beverly
Hills, Florida, died December 18, 2002. He was born in
St. Michael, Pennsylvania, but resided in Windber, Pennsylvania for 18
years, where he played football and
graduated
from Windber High School in 1951. He retired from AT&T,
after 30 years as a methods analyst. After retiring from AT&T, he
was
the security administrator at Black
Diamond
Golf Course for 12 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran
of the Korean War and served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955. He was a
member
of St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church in Lecanto. A Funeral Mass of Remembrance was held on Thursday,
December
26, 2002, by Reverend James C. Hoge at St.
Scholastica Roman Catholic Church in Lecanto, Florida. Inurnment was
held
at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell,
Florida
on Friday, December 27, 2002, with Deacon
Terry Knox and Military Honors provided by the Spring Hill Marine Corps
League,
Detachment No. 708. Services were under the direction of Fero Funeral
Home,
William and Judith Morway
were married October 2, 1980
in Plymouth, Michigan
