A MEMORIAL TO THOMAS HUNTER BELL JR

THOMAS HUNTER BELL JR
1922 - 1998

FROM HIS LOVING WIFE
EVA BOWLES BELL

On Friday, April 17 at 6:25am, Thomas Hunter Bell, Jr., 76, set sail for his last voyage.

He was a sailor, a salesman, a gambler and the best steak griller in the world. He was a
Scottish Rite Mason for over 50 years, and a member of the Oasis Temple in Charlotte,
N.C. He was an original crewmember of the USS OAKLAND CL95, a "Plankowner".
He was a constant contributor to Boy's Town and a staunch Republican. But, most of all, he was a husband to Eva Bowles Bell of Greensboro, a father to Bonnie Bell of
Brunswick,Ga. and Barry Bell of Greensboro, and brother to Hampton Rob Bell of St.
Petersburg, Fla. There will be a private ceremony. The family requests that any tribute to
Tom be in the form of a contribution in his name to Hospice at Greensboro, Inc. Sail on
Sailor, we love you!
