||
| Two individuals, in what at the time would have been thought of as unrelated markets, forged the idea for this new steel stud. Two friends, one a contractor with the need for a cheaper and more effective type of building material and the other a coater with the answer to his problems, happened by chance to stumble across the idea for a new type of steel stud that is bonded together by an adhesive. This product would be a much more effective type of building material with a long run cost advantage. These two men would later find out that this idea had never been thought of before and would receive a patent on their new idea. It would not be until several years after the patent was received that Quiet Building Components would be officially created and new QBC studs would finally be offered to the construction industry. | ||
|
Quiet Building Components is an offspring of Modern Materials, Inc. The idea, having been co-created by the president of Modern Materials, would take form using the experience and opportunities that Modern Materials had to offer. Industry advantages such as already proven contacts, a manufacturing location, and executive support give QBC and incredible cost of production advantage towards start-up. These start-up advantages combined with the product advantages ensure that QBC has the potential to become a successful company well into the future. |
