Purkey had this to say: Mary Lou White
has been a volunteer for Hope Hospice since May of 2005. It is her true
selflessness that is makes her such a great volunteer and representative of
Hope Hospice. Mary Lou puts the heart of volunteerism into practice. Her personal
touch to her patients is what makes Mary Lou so special to the families of
Hospice. Mary Lou also helps Hope Hospice in our office when Wendy is on
vacation or can not be in the office. Her professionalism and help in the
office is invaluable to our success. She has never turned down an opportunity
to serve our patients or families in all the years she has been with Hope
Hospice.
For
the past twelve years the Hospice Service Award has been given to a Hope
Hospice volunteer, staff member, or other individual or organization that has
given help and encouragement to Hope Hospice.
