A MEMORIAL TO CHESTER EDWIN KNOX
A WORLD WAR II INFANTRYMAN
MAY HE REST IN ETERNAL PEACE
THAT HE SO RICHLY DESERVES

I dedicate this Memorial to Debby Peare, her husband Jon and their children.
Debby let me try and pay the homage that your father so richly deserved as a

General Patton's infantryman and his service to our country. I hope that this
memorial will help relief some of the suffering and pain that you and your family
have gone through.

DEBBY AND JON PEARE
HIS LOVING DAUGHTER

At the age of 13, my Daddy broke my heart. He and mom told me that I was adopted. I cried, and said "No, I'm not". But Daddy, being Daddy, said "I want
you to listen very closely. Being adopted means that you are very special. You

see, you are our daughter, not because we gave birth to you, but because we
CHOSE you.
