ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

This set of ribbons was reconstructed with the help of the following shipmates

I would like to thank Robert J. Miller of USS Henry W. Tucker DDR-875 for his assistance in completing the earned medals list. His website is at URL:

This webpage and the ship's photo printout webpages would not have been

possible
with out their help. I thank you very much for taking the time to help
me.

This website is safe for the entire family

This website was created for my shipmates, their children, their children's children and anyone else that might enjoy it. When I started this website I wanted a red,
white, and blue color scheme so you will find alternate lines of red and blue on a
white stucco or marble background. I also use numerous graphics and music on
every webpage. You may select the music you want to hear when there is more
than one choice offered. This is to make your surfing of this website more
enjoyable.

Class room instructional tool

There are a number of teachers from around the world that are using this website
for their World War II study assigments. I have received requests from remote
areas like Alaska where a library is hard to find. They want and are happy to use
the website for their study assigments. The USS OAKLAND and USS LEONARD
F. MASON websites are honored to be of an educational service to the children.
