Took these pics with a $20.00 Keystone, Easy Shot, 35mm, 500x, electronic Auto Wind Camera. Used 200 film.

I epoxied a Tower Hobbies, Micro TS-16 servo, (system 3000) for a Airtronics RX, and used a HCAM2020 6" extension plug which I plugged into channel 5 on the receiver.
A servo arm would push the camera button down. Total cost of camera set-up, approximately $60.00.

I turned the flash on before I took the plane up, and when I wanted to take a picture, just flipped the "Retract Switch" on the Transmitter. I could see the camera flash every time, and Yolanda could not believe what I was doing.

I should have angled the camera down just a little more so the wing would not show, but was afraid I would take a pic of the wheel on the main landing gear. One end of the camera rested on the Aluminum landing gear with foam behind it, so there would be no vibration. The other end of the camera was attached to the bottom of the wing with velcro. Also I cut the camera string in the middle and tied one end to the front and back of the rubber band posts that hold the wing. I also epoxied 1/4 X 1/4 stock on the sides of the camera. At the bottom used rubber bands that I attached to the 1/4 " stock, and other side of the main landing gear to hold bottom of camera that was resting on the landing gear, so it held camera firm against the foam and fuselage.

At the top, the velcro held the other 1/4" stock and I also used 1/32 x 1/2 double sided foam tape to help hold top of camera also.

Used a 40 size Tower Hobbies ARF Avistar, that has over 100 flights on it. I would slow it down to just about a stall. The altitude varied, but probably flew the plane around 400 ft high??? I was laughing at one point so hard, because I could hardly see the plane, and was hoping that it would not crash on Highway 25. :-^
