HOW TO APPLY
Applications and Criteria
|
MAKE SURE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE RULES. You must earn it. So if you hate to lose don't apply. If you expect that you will win just by applying FORGET IT. This award will not be given just to get hits for this website. The website must not contain violence or pornography. Appearance and Navigation: Sites must have a clean interface; text and link text should be in proper format and be easy to read. All links to other web sites with little or no content by web master will not be allowed. (In other words don't depend on some one else to do your work.) All work must be complete with no web pages under construction. No dead end links, all links must be in working order or removed. Site navigation should be simple and have some semblance of organization. Load Time: Sites must load in a reasonable amount of time; a lot of folks are not willing to wait 10 minutes for a site to load. Information: Value of information is a must. For example, a destroyer site should contain information on destroyers, and that information must be accurate and up-to-date. Graphics and Image Quality: Quality of graphics and images must be, at a minimum, good. |
